Orchid Lake (Hong-Mao Pei)

On our way to the fast train we stopped off at the Orchid Lake, which was really nice and it felt very European, and didn’t really feel like Taiwan at all, with people causally walking and riding bicycles along the lake side as we drove by.

The was a three storey high, observation tower, which gave great views of the lake and it's surroundings, I really needed a pair of binoculars with me that day!
