3DS Max vs Image Studio

The good thing about 3DS Max is that you can produce seriously slick photographic renders, the only problem with the 3DS program is it takes too long to set your scene up for the render. I realized this after about 5 minuets that the was no way I would be able to render all my concepts in time for Monday.

So I rolled out Image Studio which is the plug in Render for Alias, and boy is it quick and you get good looking renders. The are some features I wish it would have, which you get in 3DS, but other than that it is a great package to use.
