Shrimp Farm Ping Tung 屏東

We also went to stay the weekend down in Ping Tung 屏東 with Popo who farther in law runs a squid farm it was a really good fun evening we had a great BBQ and some seriously fresh Shrimp to cook.

Casting away.

I tried out some Shrimp fishing using a cast net, each throw you would catch about twenty medium sized Shrimp.

Feeling rather pleased with myself after a successful cast.

After a mega BBQ which started at around 5 o'clock which mainly involved eating vast amounts of shrimp and feeling very full by the end of dinner we headed off down the road for a walk. It was very beautiful with the sun setting across the valley.

Shame you can’t see our faces, but I thought the low light gave the photo’s a nice effect.

When we return we were greeted by this bottle of 58% proof wine (Taiwan wine rather an acquired taste), it was a heavy night with lots of toasting going on to the various guests which were staying on the farm that night!
